Johanna Bejarano is a bilingual mass communication and journalism professional with over 20 years of experience as a reporter and editor for regional newspapers, broadcasting, and digital media in the U.S. and Colombia, her native country. She has also worked as a journalism professor. Johanna has worked for Northwest Public Broadcasting since 2021, covering issues affecting Hispanic and Latino/x/e communities and other underrepresented groups in Washington state. She also hosts the NWPB’s Spanish weekly news: “Resumen Semanal de Noticias.”
