Mallory Kruml is a Murrow News Fellow covering rural government in Port Townsend and Jefferson County. Before accepting the role, she was the sole reporter for The Snoqualmie Valley Record, covering Snoqualmie, North Bend, Fall City, Preston, and Duvall. She has also written for the Yakima Valley Business Times, the Skagit Valley Herald and the Anacortes American. Born and raised in the Seattle area, Mallory attended Western Washington University, where she majored in journalism and minored in environmental studies, graduating in 2022.
