Alison Boggs, a scholarly assistant professor with the Murrow College, worked as a reporter, editor, and online producer in print media for 22 years prior to joining WSU. She teaches news reporting and writing and directs “Backpack Journalism,” a competitive, donor-funded program that sends four students abroad every year to report stories. Boggs has a master’s degree in journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism and a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University.
