Lori Losee is a wedding industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience helping couples and creative businesses do what they do best—minus the chaos. She founded Elegant Affairs in 2005 after leaving a career in journalism, and what began as a weekend passion quickly grew into a full-scale wedding planning and design company serving the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Over the years, she has planned hundreds of weddings, built and led teams, navigated every curveball imaginable, and learned firsthand what it takes to run a sustainable wedding business. That expertise led her to create The Social Attendant and to serve as Executive Director of Better Bridal Group, where she supports wedding professionals through education, strategy, and community.
Lori believes great businesses are built on clarity, boundaries, and systems that actually work. Her mission is always the same: to help wedding professionals work smarter, lead better, and build businesses they love for the long term.
