Kyle Bonagura is a national college football reporter for ESPN.com, focusing on enterprise reporting.
He is also a co-creator and co-host of the true-crime podcast The Unforgotten: Finding Dolores Wulff, which has ranked among Apple Podcasts’ top series, telling the story of the disappearance of former WSU football coach Paul Wulff’s mother.
Bonagura’s reporting has been honored by the Football Writers Association of America and he was ESPN’s nominee for best reporting for the National Magazine Awards in 2022. He was a Webby Awards finalist in 2021 for a data visualization project and was part of ESPN’s 2023 nomination for general excellence at the National Magazine Awards.
As a student at Washington State, he served as the sports editor of the Daily Evergreen (2004) and also covered the football and men’s basketball team (2003-2005).
Prior to ESPN, Bonagura worked as a high school sports reporter for Bay Area News Group (2006–2010), covered the 49ers and Stanford for CBS Sports (2011–2013) and the Golden State Warriors for CSN Bay Area (2013).
