Jill Ballo

Jill advises Microsoft teams responsible for some of the most innovative new AI services used by industries worldwide. She is responsible for addressing complex issues including responsible AI, data use and privacy. In her work as an attorney at Microsoft, she partners with marketing, communications, public relations and engineering professionals to navigate emerging legal and policy issues that impact the creation and selling of AI services. Prior to joining Microsoft, Jill practiced first amendment and intellectual property law at Davis Wright Tremaine. Before attending law school, Jill spent a decade as a news producer at KOMO-TV in Seattle.
