My name is Reneé Diaz, and I am a Murrow News Fellow based in Wenatchee, reporting for Northwest Public Broadcasting and the Wenatchee World. As a community reporter, I focus on how larger issues impact rural communities, with a special emphasis on Latine/x stories. Originally from Yakima, Washington, I graduated from the University of Washington. My past work includes covering state house issues in Olympia and freelancing for the Seattle Times.
