Raymond (Ray) Sun is an associate professor of history at WSU-Pullman. He teaches and researches on the world wars, Nazi Germany and the Holocaust, contemporary genocides, and the memory of traumatic events. He is currently completing the Fallen Cougars Project, a digital memorial to the +250 World War 2 war dead from what was then Washington State College.
