Sherry Nebel

Sherry is a 1976 Washington State University Murrow graduate with a degree in communication, specializing in journalism and public relations. While at WSU, she was active in Alpha Chi Omega, served as president of the Jay Rockey chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America, and participated on the student-run Lecture Artist Series committee. She began her career at KIRO-TV in Seattle, working in television news writing and producing, including special reports and documentaries.

Sherry spent 25 years at The Boeing Company in senior communications leadership roles, overseeing internal and external communications, media relations, branding, and executive communications across defense, space, and commercial airplane programs. She led global communications for Connexion by Boeing and later for Boeing’s airplane business before retiring in 2010, followed by a second retirement after serving with Wellspring Family Services. Sherry remains active in the community, serving on boards including Seafair, the Murrow Professional Advisory Board, and the Woman’s Century Club.
