Alisa is a Murrow College Class of 2018 graduate, where she majored in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast News. She then went to study law at the University of Washington School of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctorate in 2021. After law school Alisa began her legal career as a criminal defense attorney, tenaciously representing for those involved in the justice system. She then became a prosecutor for the City of Seattle, where she specialized in prosecuting offenders of domestic violence. She took over a dozen cases to trial and sought justices for survivors of domestic violence, utilizing the public speaking skills she developed at the Murrow College. Currently Alisa is an associate attorney at FAVROS Law, representing healthcare providers in medical malpractice litigation. In this role, she uses her journalistic writing background to draft persuasive legal briefs and arguments.
