Marty Dickinson

Marty Dickinson (’91) exemplifies the principle of “service above self” through her lifelong commitment to her hometown of Spokane, the state of Washington, and her alma mater, Washington State University. A seasoned communicator and strategic leader, Dickinson currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Spokane Teachers Credit Union (STCU), where she oversees marketing, branding, and commercial lending. Her career has also included executive roles with the Spokane Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Spokane Partnership, and Umpqua Bank.

A proud graduate of the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication, Dickinson has built a reputation for guiding teams through periods of uncertainty and fostering resilience and productivity. Her expertise spans marketing, community relations, and government affairs, and she has an extensive record of leadership and service.

In 2018, Dickinson was appointed to the WSU Board of Regents, the university’s governing body. Among her significant contributions, she led the successful campaign to change the state charter to enable WSU to establish its medical school.

Dickinson has been widely recognized for her achievements, including six consecutive honors as one of the Most Influential Leaders by Catalyst Inland Northwest Magazine, the 2015 YWCA Women of Achievement Award, and recognition as one of Spokane’s Power 40 Most Influential People.
